Chapter 1: General Provisions

Article 1: Nature of the Organization

The International Trading Association (hereinafter referred to as "ITA") is an international professional and career development organization legally registered in the United Kingdom.

The Association is dedicated to providing high-quality services, education, and industry standards for professionals engaged in global market analysis, trend research, and strategy execution.

Article 2: Mission

ITA aims to promote the professionalization of market analysis and applied market research by establishing a globally unified vocational competency assessment system.

Our core objectives include providing authoritative vocational skills training and certification, building an elite industry community, facilitating global talent recruitment, and leading the establishment of professional practice standards.

Article 3: Applicability

This Charter is the fundamental document governing the rights, obligations, and codes of conduct between ITA and all categories of its members.

All individuals and institutions accepted into the Association must abide by this Charter and its supplementary bylaws.

Chapter 2: Membership Categories & Eligibility

Article 4: Individual Members

The individual membership system is designed to support professionals throughout their career lifecycle and is divided into four levels:

  • Candidate Member: Individuals who have enrolled in ITA vocational certification or skills training programs but have not yet passed all required assessments.
  • Associate Member: Professionals engaged in market analysis, market strategy, data research, risk analysis, or related advisory work, who meet the basic experience requirements set by ITA and commit to abiding by the Association's code of ethics.
  • Chartered Member: Top-tier professionals who have successfully passed all levels of ITA assessments, possess recognized practical industry experience in data and market strategy, and have been formally awarded the ITA qualification and designation.
  • Fellow Member: Senior professionals with over ten years of outstanding contribution to their specialized research or analytical fields, specially nominated and awarded by the Association.

Article 5: Institutional Members

Institutional membership is open to legally compliant corporate entities, data analysis agencies, research think tanks, EdTech companies, and related business entities globally.

Eligibility criteria include the following:

  • Possess a valid and legal corporate registration in their respective country or region.
  • Endorse ITA's core values and commit to promoting ITA's professional standards internally.
  • Have a specified percentage of employees as ITA Individual Members, or commit to integrating ITA certifications into their internal talent recruitment evaluation systems.

Chapter 3: Member Rights & Benefits

Article 6: Rights of Individual Members

  • Qualifications and Certification: Participate in multi-level systematic vocational training provided by ITA. Upon passing the assessments, receive globally recognized ITA professional skills certificates and the right to use corresponding ITA designations on professional profiles.
  • Community Network: Gain exclusive access to the ITA global elite community, and participate in internal seminars, industry trend sharing sessions, and annual summits.
  • Career Development (Talent Services): Enjoy priority access to senior job postings from ITA partner enterprises, resume referral services, and career planning guidance.
  • Voting Rights: Chartered Members and Fellow Members hold voting rights regarding the revision of specific industry standards and the election of relevant committee representatives.

Article 7: Rights of Institutional Members

  • Talent Recruitment and Sourcing: Priority in posting job vacancies within the exclusive ITA talent pool, benefiting from precise matching and sourcing of ITA-certified analytical talents.
  • Brand Empowerment: Awarded the "ITA Certified Institutional Member" plaque, with the right to use the ITA institutional member logo in corporate marketing to enhance global credibility.
  • Corporate Training: Access to customized internal training on analytical skills and professional compliance for employees, as well as group discounts for educational programs.
  • Standard-Setting Participation: Invited to join the "ITA Industry Standard Advisory Committee" to co-develop and update international market practice guidelines.

Chapter 4: Member Duties & Obligations

Article 8: General Obligations

All categories of members must:

  • Strictly comply with this Charter and the ITA Code of Ethics and Professional Standards.
  • Pay the Annual Membership Dues in full and on time.
  • Safeguard the reputation of ITA and refrain from using the ITA name to engage in any illegal, non-compliant activities, or actions that harm the interests of the Association.

Article 9: Special Obligation for Individual Members: Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

To embody the core value of Advancement, Chartered Members and Fellow Members must complete annual Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours as stipulated by ITA.

This ensures their market analysis skills, data insights, and compliance awareness remain up-to-date. An Annual Professional Conduct Statement must be submitted yearly.

Chapter 5: Core Values & Code of Ethics

Article 10: Integrity

Members must maintain the highest level of honesty and integrity in all market analysis and practical business activities.

Involvement in professional misrepresentation, data falsification, abuse of confidential commercial information, or the dissemination of false trend reports is strictly prohibited.

Article 11: Transparency

Members shall maintain transparency when dealing with clients, employers, and the public.

Potential commercial conflicts of interest must be clearly disclosed to ensure that the processes of market research and strategy output remain objective and impartial.

Article 12: Advancement

Members should be dedicated to enhancing their professional analytical capabilities and industry literacy.

They are expected to drive the progress of overall commercial research and industry standards through continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

Chapter 6: Disciplinary Process

Article 13: Violation Investigation

If ITA receives complaints regarding a member's violation of laws, this Charter, or the Code of Ethics, the Association's Professional Conduct Committee reserves the right to initiate an investigation and require the member to cooperate and provide necessary explanations.

Article 14: Disciplinary Sanctions

For verified violations, ITA reserves the right to impose one or more of the following sanctions, depending on the severity of the offense:

  • Private or Public Reprimand.
  • Suspension of membership and related educational services.
  • Permanent Revocation of membership and withdrawal of any acquired ITA certificates and designations.
  • For institutional members involved in major commercial violations or reputational crises, immediate termination of membership and public announcement.

Chapter 7: Supplementary Provisions

Article 15: Governing Law

The interpretation of this Charter and the daily operations of ITA shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of the United Kingdom.

Article 16: Charter Amendments

The right to interpret this Charter rests with the ITA Board of Directors or Committees.

Any major amendments to this Charter shall be announced to all members during the annual meeting or through official channels, and must be approved by a vote of the core member representatives.

Article 17: Effective Date

This Charter shall enter into force and be implemented upon the establishment of ITA in the year 2024.
